(btw, I’m working on my cube changes and they should be up… well, I’d say “this weekend” but may be longer. Who’d have thought that I’d be spending the most time on changing black [despite getting a grand total of 1 good DGM card?])
So here’s another deck that I had with its pool. How would you build it?
(also, FWIW, I built a mostly red, splashing blue deck for the last post, I ended up playing Venser and Control Magic as I had a lot of answers for cheap things and wanted to have countermagic/steal effects for whatever mattered. I forget if I either lost 1 game or lost none.)
I’ve been meaning to post this deck that I drafted for some time, but since Ral Zarek got posted last night, I figured that now was a good print time to do so.
So these were all of the cards that I drafted for a deck (the rest were irrelevant.) How would you have built the deck? How many lands would you have played? [note, there are 33 non-land cards there, so there's a lot to cut for a potential deck.]
I went on Matt Kranstuber’s podcast for the episode about artifacts. Here it is.
List is updated to reflect the current contents and pictures reflect its current content. I’m running the cube equivalent of “the becker” by going up to 460 cards and one of the big things is that it now has all 10 signets. Explanations about the changes are behind the cut.
(but part of it was inspired by my guesting on Matt Kranstuber’s podcast “The Joy of Cubing” for the episode artifacts, such as the talk about Tezzeret. When it goes up, I’ll link it here.)
